He warned that the general election campaign could get ugly. “They’re going to try to scare people. They’re going to try to say that ‘that Obama is a scary guy,’†he said. A donor yelled out a deep accented “Don’t give in!â€

“I won’t but that sounded pretty scary. You’re a tough guy,†Obama said.

“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,†Obama said. “Because from what I understand folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.â€

I understand this is just a metaphor, but this is kind of the equivalent if McCain said "We will destroy his campaign like an aborted fetus". I mean, does this not seem a tad hypocritical?

The media will give Obama an enormous pass in this election. They dont want to be seen as racist so they will go out of their way to ignore the fact that unscripted he sounds like a shifty bumbler. Go look at the tape of his Q&A when his advisor, a recipient of low interest sweetheart loans from FNMA, resigned. He sounded like he was trying to hide something, and doing a poor job of it.
