Reloading class at Lebanon Gun Shop

[font=comic sans ms,cursive][b][color=#B22222]I'm new to reloading and thinking of taking 4 hour class at Lebanon gun shop. Just wondered if anyone has taken that class and if it would be worth the 100 dollars. I plan to load 9mm,40 and 45acp. They show you how to reload a 38 special but i suppose the basics would apply to the calibers i want to reload? If anyone knows of a better class any where i would be interested in knowing about it. While I am not knocking that particular class, or reloading classes in general, I think $100 is a lot for a reloading class unless there are some concrete supplies included. Check around here a bit and see if there is anybody who would be willing to guide you. This reloading fraternity is a pretty helpful one and most of us are willing to help.

Also, before you begin, invest in a good reloading manual, Speer #14 or Modern Reloading are two decent ones.

man, what a good question,i'm new to it as well,i spent hours and hours reading and watching videos as none of my friends re load for a variety of reasons. The few guys i did find were too busy to train me.The shop i bought my gear from was of little help, spent serious money and after the sale all they could give me was were smart you're stupid attitudes until i caught em selling me a used die set for new price...i wont go back needless to say..
i bought a pistol a while back from lebanon gun shop,if theyre class is as friendly as they are in general, ill pop 100 for class in a heartbeat!! I buggered up a lot of rounds getting it right, spent a lot of time pulling em apart too.100 would be a great investment imho

This IS a good question. I can't see droppin' a bill for a class when you can learn it all from a book. In addition any questions you have should be easily answered here. If you start with pistol ammo it's really not very difficult at all. Any questions you can't answer between the reloading books, TGO, and YouTube probably aren't beginner questions. But, if you have $100 of discretionary income and trust the guys I guess I could think of a worse way to spend a day.

Nice people there, and seem to be quite knowledgeable as well. If you aren't comfortable starting by reading a reloading manual and watching youtube videos, I'd guess the class would be wothwhile. I wouldn't be opposed to helping someone learn the basics and get started. I expect you can find several people closer to you who feel the same way.
