A new design finished

I have two today. One is a trailing point and the other is a new design. Its obviously inspired by Scandinavian knives, Im calling it the barrel knife.
Trailing point
Aldos 1095 1/8“ convex grind
4 1/2“ handle, 3 1/2“ blade
Figured Walnut scales with jade g10 liners and black pinstripe.

Very nice knives. I love the top one, looks like it would make a good skinning knife.
The bottom one is very nice as well and looks like it would make a good "bushcraft" knife.
Not sure I like the green pin stripe, as It makes an old traditional knife look "new".

Do you cut these blades yourself or do you use blade blanks?

Thanks man. I actually like blending old and new. The green is a color you either love or hate! Some guys do the scales with it but thats too much green for me. I also like using color so if you drop your knife in the woods its more visible. I dont use blanks, everything is done in house.

Great looking knives. I really like the handle on the 2nd one. It seems "fatter" for great grip.
