There is a person on armslist selling an unknown brand of what he/she feels is a .22 bolt action with a magazine well, but no magazine. He/she states there are no markings on it whatsoever. I have exhausted all my possible sources. I am somewhat intrigued/interested in buying it but want to know what it is before making an offer (as I will need to find a magazine for it if I do) P M me and I'll give you the link to his ad.

Made an "in the blind offer" and he stated he would rather throw it in the garbage for that...............LOL..........so he got a "good luck with the sale" reply. Would still like to figure out what it is though. I am a curious sort.

My uncle had an old Mossberg that looked similar, the end of the barrel looked the same and it came with a barrel extension.

It bears a resemblance to something Mossberg or Revelation would have put out.

My guess is an old Mossberg that's been bubbaed up a bit or a vintage European or Asian import. Mossberg had a lot of rifles that had a squared trigger guard, but it was at the rear. It makes me wonder if someone removed the trigger guard and replaced it backwards.

The seller's pics leave a lot to the imagination. That is enough to keep me from offering anything for it.
