Adminstration to move all semi-autos to NFA status by Executive Order?

When I said " by our track record " I am refering to that the firearm community refuses to join together . It was early and I often don't say what I am trying to say .  All I hear from the Hunters in my area is " Who needs those type guns anyway " !! Are they so blind that they don't realize they are next on the hit list !! You are right in there is no reason to see it happen .  All gun control laws affect all gun owners . The old saying   " United we stand , Divided we fall " comes to mind . I feel like exploding everytime I hear as long as I still have my shotgun or deer rifle I am fine .

As we have seen , let one of those weapons get national attention from use in a major crime and look out . Just one sniper with a " Deer Rifle " ( a term that is used to cover almost every rifle bigger than a 22 rimfire and misused as much as assualt rifle ) and a scope or A shot gun with some buckshot and they will be begging for us to STAND with them . I am not saying all hunters are like this but far too many of them are .

I just saw the headlines where a NY man killed 2 firefighters with a gun. The evil P. O .S . had killed his 90 plus year old grandmother with a hammer in 1980 or 81 . My response is why was he out of jail and not given the death penalty , not why didn't we ban hammers .  We are being lead to slaughter when we can no longer defend our self .

I wasn't criticizing you as much as I was criticizing the entire gun community. I actually liked your post. I get a

bit depressed when I see a general thought in the gun community that "well, it will happen, anyway", and that's

not what you said. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. I was trying to add to your post, which was excellent, by

the way.

No problem  . I often read what I wrote and it doesn't clearly say what I wanted to say , so I just wanted to add a bit to help clear it up .

We as citizens need to all right our elected officials in mass to see if our state government is willing to stand up to the federal government as a whole. The last great conflict fought on this continent was fought over states rights. We need to elect state governments that see our views on states rights and let it be known that our state and many others are not going to stand for a federal government that doesn't respect our rights as a state to let us decide what we want. I have many times posted a plan on how to set up a legitimate true Conservative party by starting small and working your way up. We need to quit complaining about the Federal government and start taking steps in our home state by electing officials that will stand up against a tyrannical federal government if and when the time comes that will say what you are doing is not in our best interest and we won't stand for it as a state. I don't think that anyone will convince the people in Washington that we won't stand for being disarmed or forced to buy insurance unless we get proactive and make sure we have the right people in place at the state level that have the testicular fortitude to break glass when the federal government comes knocking to take our possessions.

Americans Will Never Surrender Their Second Amendment Rights

http://www.westernjournalism.com/americans-will-never-surrender-their-second-amendment-rights/

"Cowards and traitors exist now as in Adams’ day; cowards willing to surrender their weapons to a tyrannical state and traitors willing to surrender the rights of other Americans.

But the rest of us will overcome these individuals and resist the efforts of a corrupt government to enslave the American public by refusing to obey any law which further intrudes on our Second Amendment rights. Be it a ban on ownership or attempt at outright confiscation, the duty of Americans will be to fight, not comply."

Looking over the grandfather and registration I see the term  " Dedicated funding for ATF to impliment registration "  So does this to mean they are going to buy the KY and I don't mean the state  !!

If it comes to that you would be looking at an expense that some people can not pay . I am now dissabled and on a fixed income and I am sure there are gun owners that are worse off than me . I believe this will send a bunch of firearms into the underground and never to be legal again status.

I knew a guy who said he had a streetsweeper ( I never saw it )  and wouldn't register it when they changed the catagory on it. He has passed away and who knows what ever happened to it. People don't trust the Government and feel this is nothing but a future list for where to go and pick them up later  when they are outlawed to own . I fall into this crowd. I trust nothing the Government tells us . I mean come on Oswald ,JFK , Carcano , Majic bullet , Almost pristene condition bullet after making multiple wounds . Yep, I beleive everything them tell me,  to be a lie.

Not to get too far into the conspiracy thing but EVERY single event that happens has so many conflicting facts and news reports up to the point when the officials take over and the media gets focused on the OFFICIAL STORY wich is so often different from the truth.

I may be wrong here , but doesn't every NFA firearm have to have special engraving and be marked as to NFA standards ? I am not sure if everyone here realizes it , but under current ATF rules it is lawful to purchase a cut up AK or many other weapons that has been cut up to the ATF specs . You can get a 80 % receiver and put it together without having to register or report it to anyone . These do not have to have serial numbers either because it was a homemade firearm for your own use. You are supposed to be able to legally own a firearm of coarse .

This will allow them to get these weapons " in the system " . That is if you stay a law abidding citizen , and most of us will . I wonder how many firearms missed the original NFA registration because they just never heard that they were supposed to register them . Of coarse with all the media ,radio ,tv and computers of today if would be hard to not hear about it.

This country has gun owners that are split into the as long as I still have my hunting rifle or shotgun , who cares  . I for one care !! I don't hunt but you should have the right to . I barley shoot anymore but I should have the right to . I guess if they were coming for your rifle with a scope  ( that they now want to classify as a sniper rifle after someone of importance was killed with one ) , you wouldn't be mad and saying they will be coming for you military look alike rifle next . This is just a what if but we need to find some common ground and pull together to fight this. I just can't beleive all the "  what do you need them for " attitude . That is a weak argument and can be used for anything. I mean WHO NEEDS anything other than food and shelter .We need them because we want them and the founding fathers were smart enough to know that we might NEED them as they needed them when the government gets to the point that they are out of control .

We need them because we have seen what happens when they are taken away . They are boiling a frog here . Put him in the pot and raise the temp little by little and he will just die in the pot . Throw into hot water and he will jump out. The pot was filled with water when the first NFA was done . Clinton turned the heat up another notch with his ban  .  Amazingly enough it was let run out but I am sure they made a note of this and any future bill will be permenant  .

The 922r came into place somewhere down the line not sure when or where but the idea that a trigger from the USA is any less leathal then the one from whatever country is another stupid law . You must replace x number of parts with x number of US made parts to be legal depending on the firearm in question . So if you build an AK with a stamped receiver you MUST replace 6 parts from there list to make it leagal . Is it more of a evil weapon because it has a foriegn part ? Does adding the US made part alter the thinking of the rifle and now make it good ? Did a bayonet lug really scare that many people ? We are the king of stupid laws that do not affect the criminal . When you are out to break the law and murder people , what is one more law to break . These stupid control laws only apply to the law abiding citizen .

I believe after re electing ( by whatever means , did he win any states that require voter I. D . yet another rant )  they must have figured that we are pretty stupid and must believe that we are out of the recession and the economy is thriving . I know it must be true because  they said so . ( see paragraph 2 , another lie )

Where has the country I grew up in gone ?  Sorry to be so long winded but this burns me up . I have been a law abiding citizen and if this passes they are going penalize me with more laws and fees and I have not commited or plan to commit any crime .

United we stand but Devided we will fall . We need to get it together .

I grew up in that country. It is dead. Get this: when you hear the "national anthem"...... It is dead. We are no longer tha " land of the free and home of the brave". We are land of the weak and home of the slaves. It is truly pathetic. I could rant much more but I won't. Just the reelection of the redistributionist in chief says it all. Four years from now you will either be an emasculated, tax paying, socialist slave; a free man off the grid; or dead. Just my input.

I am not weak or a slave. I will not need to live off the grid and I would be a very hard person to kill face to face.

I am an American Patriot. I am one of the few that will help fix the problem. Instead of crying and stomping your feet like a little kid, calling us names, and disrespecting our Nation Anthem; work towards something constructive.

Many of the American people are still Patriots. We will work towards changing our government through legal means. We are the people you will face should you try to over throw our government by force.

I guess I just don't have the reading comprehension that others do.  I don't see where Commando68 said that he wanted to, advocated for, or would participate in overthrowing our govt., by force or by any other means.

It is the govt., in case you have not noticed, that has been threatening the citizen, not vice versa.

So I don't think Commando68 will be 'facing' you or any other patriots Dave, he has not said anything that would indicate that he would be.  Let's not make people out to be anarchists when they've given absolutely no evidence whatsoever of being one.

I didn’t mean to imply that he was. I was simply stating that as long as this is America (and it still is the America I was raised in, and am proud of) there will be no unlawful action against our government.

I probably should stay out of this, but when someone goes into a demeaning tirade against my country and my fellow Americans it’s hard to do.

Is this advocating anarchy?
Advocate anarchy if you want, but just remember there are two sides. Once that line has been drawn people have to choose sides.

Not arguing that Dave, but the point that people like Commando68, I and others are making is that it is GOVERNMENT which is the one drawing the line in the sand, moving the goal posts, not the citizens.  We are not usurping power.  We are not acting in a tyrannical manner.  They are.  Who knows when the straw that breaks the camel's back will be added.  We are not hoping that it happens anytime soon, God forbid.  We are not advocating attacking govt. (physically), but when they start attacking us (physically), at that time I hope that you will be with us and not with them.  That is what everyone is saying in all of these conversations regarding America not being America any longer and our disgust with govt. and what it has become.  We are not advocating anarchy.

YOUR country, at least a faction of it, is trying to flush the whole thing down the crapper. Like it or not (some HATE it), the Second Amendment is a cornerstone of YOUR country. The Feinstein bill, if left intact, literally destroys the second.

I will fight that in some way. That doesn't mean that I will start shooting commies. It means that I won't stand by and pretend that the United States is still intact. I won't comply in the way they expect. I won't comply.

The Supreme Court of the United States disagrees. Under this great system we have their opinions carry the full weight of law; hers did not.

In theory ...maybe.

The Supreme Court is the final word on interpretations of the Constitution. In reality they aren’t accountable to Congress or the people. If Congress doesn’t like their rulings they have to change the law or the Constitution.

As far as being accountable to the people that is laughable. I doubt most people agree with the SCOTUS on their Eminent Domain decision. But there is nothing that can be done.

Now I'm gonna have nightmares. Thanks.

If you would have given her some love when you had the chance, she may not have turned into such an America hating bitch. :)

The "sheeple" of the United States of Amerika voted in the incumbent that promises entitlements paid for by working people like me. They have voted in an anti-colonial, anti-American exceptionalism, anti capitalist, anti-military, socialist, income redistributionist to the most powerful position on earth. The man is a protege of Frank Marshal Davis(communist), son of a card carrying member of the communist party(mother) and son of polygamist, radical revolutionary against British colonialism(father). The Amerikan people that voted for this marxist are fools and yes, stupid. Last I checked no one on my side of the fence has done one thing to oppress the govt. It is the other way around. We are being taxed, disarmed, zoned, regulated, silenced and stripped of a rich culture. A traditional America with values and freedom that no longer exists. We the American People are getting strangled to death by an overreaching and ever expanding monster lurking in the dc septic tank.
