Well, the issue I have with this story is that they are reporting hearsay. There is no proof or content; just a guy who says he knows a guy who says that Obama will backdoor gun restrictions. At least when government leaks are reported to other news sources they do it having vetted the source to some degree. This story is a prime example why Fox News has stooped to the reliability of MSNBC.

Elimination of BATFE would be a good thing. Of course elimination of many other unnecessary bureaucracies would be good also.

As bad as the BATFE is, I don't want them going anywhere until the gun laws are gone too. Do you really want the fibbies handling gun issues? I don't the fibbies get away with far more nefarious actions than the F-Troop ever managed to. Remember, when the F-Troop gets to where they need to start burning folks, they call in the fibbies to handle it.

I don't know who fibbies or F-Troop are. I'm clueless as usual. I'm just generally in favor of eliminating anything we can in government. Nothing in government works well. They are the only organization I know of that is bad at everything they do.

It really doesn't matter if this video has any fact behind it or not. It is common knowledge that Shumer and
Feinstein are just about always trying to implement a gun ban on most every weapon there is. If this is true,
it's just another approach to make purchasing and owning a firearm of any type difficult, if not impossible.

There's nothing really new here, and it will happen one way or another if the House goes the next election
cycle. Obama and the the other two I mentioned are strongly in favor of this. Calling Fox News a liar is just
disingenuous. Every news agency on the planet tilts the news one way or another.

The way Boehner is changing committee assignments to punish Tea Party seat holders makes me think he
might probably even go for it, also. Especially if he gets his way on some minor bill. It doesn't take much for
the crier to feel powerful. We need all the help we can get in Congress.

Ain't going to happen. Show me a budget that the House, Senate and the White House has passed in at least three years.
This country is being run on continuing resolutions and is actually an illegally run country according to the Constitution.
We are all being had, right now.

No, they do it less openly. And the other outlets have not actively gone after a whistleblower, and pushed the court to approve of openly lying.

But, again, take all media with a grain (the size of your house) of salt. Always question. Remember: No sensationalistic "news" and "fluff" stories, no $ brought in to make a profit. What is the saying I am thinking? "Trust God, all others verify" or something like.
