Book Binding

While searching for a good Christmas present for my parents I noticed that the family bible (given to them on their wedding day) is in desperate need of some repair. Does anyone know a good place in the Knoxville area to repair a binding? It's in pretty bad shape, and I think they would both really appreciate it. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I would call around to some of the local bookstores to see if they have any suggestions. By bookstore I don't mean Barnes & Noble, Bookstar or any of the chains. Edited by Garufa

There's a bookstore in Big Stone Gap VA that does that.
I just heard a story on my local PR station about them.

Local librarians are also a good source, as they regularly have books repaired. Some of them even do it themselves, our local school librarian once repaired a binding for me.

I I have a good friend that works at a library, and somehow it never even crossed my mind to call her and ask. Thanks!

I have heard of this place http://gildedleafbindery.com/. I have never used them so this is not a recommendation.

Same place my librarian friend suggested. I'm headed over there tomorrow to check it out.

The pic is completely pointless. I just thought it was kind of neat. I told my mom I was stealing her bible to get rebound (didn't want her freaking out when it disappeared). So she went looking for another to put there for the meantime. The bible on the bottom is just an average sized bible that my parents read from a lot. The left is my great great aunts, the one in the middle belonged to my great great great (possibly one or two more greats in there, mom isn't sure yet) grandmothers, its Scandinavian, and in remarkable shape for it's age. The one on the right is the one getting rebound, given to my parents on their wedding day nearly 40 years ago.
