Male Logic

This is a story which is perfectly logical to all males:

A wife asks her husband, "Could you please run to the store for me and buy a carton of milk?" "Oh, and if they have avocados, get six."

A short time later the husband comes back with 6 cartons of milk.

The wife asks him, "Why did you buy 6 cartons of milk?"

He replied, "They had avocados."

That's very similar to a conversation that my wife and I have had regarding female logic. They might say something like, "the house is hot". To a female that means, " I would like for you to go to the thermostat and turn it down". To a male she is stating a fact. So now when my wife says something similar in nature I will ask her if she is stating a fact or making a request. My response seems to be working since she is more likely now to just state her request rather than make an ambiguous statement.

You didn't ask me whether I would or not, you asked me if I wanted to.
If you asked me to do it for you, I would.
