Premium (Benefactor) Membership issue

I am currently a Benefactor. I am trying to purchase (3) 6-month Premium (Benefactor) Memberships for the winners of the giveaway.

When I go to the TGO Store and click the gray "Add to cart" button for the 6 month membership, nothing happens. If click the gray "add to cart" button for the 12 month membership, I receive the following message: You have already purchased that item and it cannot be purchased again. Would it be easier/better for me to just purchase gift vouchers for the 3 winners?

Thats how I got my membership from a friend here. He just bought a gift and sent it to me

Were you sent a redemption code via email or something? Then you purchased the membership, using that code?

If I remember right thats the way it worked. It just sent me a code to redeem, and I redeemed it and it credited me the money

I renewed recently, and was pleasantly surprised by a "new feature" available-- I had originally benefacted via check in the mail, because I don't much like paypal. Hadn't used paypal for years, and they limited the amount I could buy without telling them details of at least one brick'n'mortar bank account, and it ain't no biz of paypal to be able to get their hooks in my bank accounts. Too much security and privacy risk IMO.

So I'd been wishing that David would just take credit cards and automatically renew when necessary. Thats how I keep subscriptions to several services including my ISP.

But was too lazy to mail checks and let the benefaction lapse. So after "turning back on" my paypal acct to renew TGO, discovered two "new" things--

1-- Paypal will now let you pay thru them with credit card for apparently "unlimited sums" without getting "verified" and letting them get their hooks into your bank account.
2-- When electronically renewing now, the TGO site + paypal offers to "guest" pay via one-time credit card without even being registered with paypal, which I like even better.

Am just reporting in case it would be "useful new info" for old paypal-hating geezers such as myself. The new paypal "guest" credit card feature is basically what I was wishing David had in the past, a way to pay directly with credit card. Edited by Lester Weevils

Yeah, for years now they've become a simple credit card processor, no account necessary to purchase. Had to, to proliferate their ownline shopping cart for a bazillion website stores. They also got out of the money market biz.

I paid for a year, but where do you find when your year is up? Does it show in my profile anywhere?

In TGO Store, under what you've purchased. You can also get there through your profile under Client Area.
