EoTec 512 for AR

Recommended Posts

I hope this is the correct place to ask this ?. I was at a gun show today in Gray Tn. I was looking at a Eotec 512the guy at the table said it was a clone for $150 He said it was the same as on a table just 30 feet away for $402 out the door, the clone had on the side L3 eotec. I look at both for a long time and compared they sure appeared to be the same to me. Has anyone seen these or can help for I want to get a 512 for my AR. How can they have L3 on them and yet not be the real thing? I sure need some help for if they are worth the money I will get one tomorrow. Thanks

If you want a budget red dot check out vortex.

Vortex and primary arms have a lot of good red dots in the $100-200 range.

I have a vortex strikefire on my AR pistol and it appears to be built pretty well, the mount that came with it isn't the best but I can replace that down the road with a quality QD mount.

watch out for the fake eotechs. for 100 you can get a sightmark at academy and if you don't like it take it back. That fake eotech sales for 60 bucks on amazon with bad comments. just my 2 cents
