It is the same company.Several years back Eagle changed their name to Armalite. They have no connection at all to the old Armalite company.I would go to www.ar15.com for any questions. That is where all the AR geeks hang out.

Uh,your link says the same thing I did. What was left of Armalite died in the 80s.Eagle bought the name and became Armalite.Armalite and Eagle are the same company.

You said that they had no connection to the old Armalite.. hum.. it seems to me that buying the company would be a connection yes.. but remember also that you said that Eagle Arms was first .. which they were not cuz Armalite started in 1954.

In the past Eagle Arms lowers were considered to have a lower quality finish than the Armalite marked versions, but I don't think that is still the case since the acquisition

After Eagle bought the rights to the Armalite name and changed their name to ArmaLite Inc. they continued to sell stripped lowers with the Eagle name stamped on them.I hear they are now selling lowers with ArmaLite Inc. stamped on them.
