As I have gotten older my eyes continue to get worse all the time. A few months ago my eye doc suggested mono vision contacts. That is one eye has a contact for up close and the other eye is for distance. After a few days the brain figured it out and so when reading my up close eye is dominate and when looking at a distance the eye with the distance contact is dominate.

You may know where I am going with this.

When sighting a target I understood it is best to keep both eyes open. Well that messes me up bad. If the target is clear the sights are blurry if the sights are clear the target is blurry. I currently have gotten hand guns with larger sites Glock gen 3 and up work best at this time. My question is does anybody else have any experience with this kind of contact set up and how did you handle it and what have you found that works best? Sorry for the wordy post I just could not explain this quickly.
