Sorry, Glock. I Tried.

If the grip is too short on the G29 you could consider getting a +2 mag extension... it gives your pinky a place to hang out. I have been thinking about getting a G33 and I have big hand also, so the extension is a must for me. :screwy:

Dang.

So, the 10mm is basically a .40 "long" They look as if they are about the same diameter.

I hope some didn't interpret my post as a Glock bashing segment. I really wanted it to work, but I really need the comfort when I'm planning on using a firearm for personal protection purposes. But darn it, I really wan't a plastic framed 10mm. I may force myself to like the G20.

No bashing here....but why force yourself to like something that you wont?

There has to be others....:panic:

Does EAA really put out a quality firearm? Honestly, I've never seen on in person, but I get all kinds of conflicting information on them. Most of the opinions I've heard/read about EAA have not been all that great.

I carry a Glock Model 30 .45acp, and the recoil is very manageable, but a buddy of mine has the model 27, and the recoil is something I find unpleasant. Now with that being said I thought, these .40 are way too snappy. I then tried my cousins Taurus Mill. Pro in .40, and it was even more snappy than the Glock Model 27. I started thinking to my self "Why does anyone like the .40?"....then I shot my buddies .40 XD (not sure which model) and I was awesome with it.......(well maybe not that awesome). I really liked the way it handled.

I never thought I would say that, being a "Glock-Guy", and based on looks, I think the XDs are fugly....but I wouldn't mine owning one in .40 because of how well I shot with it.

I said all of that to try to convince you not to give up on Glock, like I did on the .40, just yet. Something might come around and surprise you.

Also I wanted to add:

Most people I let shoot my model 30 always say the same thing "The grip is to fat". Well I have larger hands, I guess, because I have always found it to be comfortable. Well a friend took his HCP class a few weeks ago and asked if he could borrow it, since he felt comfortable with shooting it. He did, and passed, and started to look for one to buy. He came by my house on Saturday to show me his new Glock Model 30SF (Slim Frame), and all I can say is, WOW! The grip feels like the grip on the Glock 27. We are going to the range tomorrow night, to put the first rounds through it, and I can't wait to try it. It might be time for and upgrade.

ive never heard anything bad about them, but then agian i never really researched them in depth beacause somebody makes something that they make but better or more mainstream except for the 10mm polymer frame pistol and EAA and glock are the only two on the current market. there are a few steel frames but only 2 polymer frames. i gave up on 10mm until XD or S&W M&P pistols are released. i wish somebody would make a high quality 10mm in a polymer frame that is user friendly to almost everybody

EAA is just an importer. They sell/have sold everything from German revolvers to Russian Saigas with their name stamped on them somewhere.

Tanfoglio makes the Witness, and I've found them to be fine pistols. The CZ-style frame is really nice. I have one in 10mm and one in .40, and they are a pleasure to shoot. Very reliable. The pistols chambered in .38 Super are very popular, respected race guns. Buy a Witness. You'll like it.

As to the G20, I'm a bit disappointed myself. I love the gun, but I simply don't understand why Glock has to make the dang grip so fat. It's not that it doesn't fit my hand, it's that the adjustment from a more standard sized grip to that of the G20 is awkward.

10mm is a fine round.
