where I'm trying to help Senator Stacey Campfield regarding [url="http://wapp.capitol.tn.gov/apps/billinfo/BillSummaryArchive.aspx?BillNumber=SB0397"]HB 3818/*SB 0397[/url] - a constitutional carry issue. He needs to find a house rep that will cosponsor it with him since the original one moved to the senate. If you are interested then help me out and review the purposed bill and see if you agree with it - if you do, then help me email some house reps and ask them to co sponsor it.

We would be better of removing the restrictions on those with permits than trying to get this constitutional carry. Remove the restrictions for permits THEN go for legalized car carry and THEN constitutional carry.

Most of the states that have gone to Constitutional carry it was already legal to keep a loaded pistol in the car without a permit and also openly carry without a permit for a long time. Wyoming and Arizona come to mind.
