Misprinted US dollar

I know that there knowledgeable folks in many areas on this forum. Does anyone have any idea on how to sell or anyone locally (Nashville area) who can tell me what a misprinted $1 dollar bill is worth. It is uncirculated with the seals and serial numbers on the back over the normal printing. I understand that our currency is printed on the back, the front and a third printing on the front. On this bill the third printing is on the back, leaving a blank space on the front where the above features should have been printed. Thanks for looking and offering any help that you can,

Call The Coin Purse in Green Hills. They are honest and trustworthy. I've dealt with Joel Plunkett and their number is 615-269-6700.

You can take this for what its worth, saw it on PBS. Guy had half a dozen uncut sheets of misprinted 1 dollar bills. Was told they were worth about $10 each. But was also told if they would have been Silver Certificates, they would have been worth a small fortune.

I did come across an article from a Numismatic book. Apparently an Uncirculated Shifted Misprint $1 bill is worth around $100. Edited by TankerHC

Well, paper money collecting isn't as hot as it was even 5 years ago, but they were selling for around $100. Truthfully eBay and the internet was one of the things to blame for the decrease in currency, stamp, card collecting amongst other items. Everyone knows the values, the rarity, and how to get the most for an item. Your $1 isn't all that rare, and sometimes will be released with it's known mistake, mainly since paper money has a relatively short life anyway.
My wife works in a bank and often buys odd and collector money that comes through.

The bigger the misprint/mistake the better it is for you.

Price, really depends on what a collector will pay, as they are all different.
