Spent the last five years of my Air Force career in San Antonio, and the Texans always treated me real nice when they found out I was from Tennessee.

 

I'd laugh and say, "Ya'll are being nice to me 'cause there were 30 Tennesseans at the Alamo!"

 

And they'd get a real serious look on their faces, and say: "Yep".

 

And we'd have a beer.

 

Texans have never forgotten who their friends are. Good bunch.
