Need Help Identifying This Magazine

I have a high capacity magainze in 9mm that I have no idea what gun this magazine is for. It looks similiar to a Beretta 92 magazine, but will not fit my Beretta. Maybe some Smiths, I am not sure. Its stamped on one side MecGar and on the other side Italy. Its stainless. Any suggestions:

It looks like a Beretta 92 to me also, but if it does not fit it may be for a Taurus 92, the Beretta 92 copy. A friend had both and they would not interchange. The mag catch slot was in a different position.

Looks like it could be a browning hi-power mag.

Tanfoglio Witness.

For reference, I have a Jericho Compact, and the top of the magazine is identical.

Tanfoglio is an Italian maker, Mecgar was a parts supplier for them. Edited by Murgatroy
