New Gun Store - Franklin

At the risk of providing unauthorized advertising, I thought I would mention that a new gun store opened last week in Franklin. The owner is a friend of mine and should become a vender on TGO very soon. It is a small shop on Beasley Drive ( just off South Columbia between Target and True Value Hardware).

I took a friend in today for his first AR purchase. Ammo and gun prices were good. He will be significantly cheaper than the other 2 shops in Franklin and ammo appears to be close (probably not cheaper, but close) to Wally World prices.

One just popped up in Spring Hill too. What's the name of your friend's?

Is that near Hwy 31 and Mack Hatcher?

Hey, close to Wally World is still mighty good. I'm in the unfortunate position of living equally close to Franklin Gun Shop and wal mart. As I'm sure you can guess the mart gets my ammo business so far. Glad to know I can start giving my custom to an independently owned shop without paying close to double for a box of cartridges.

I like to spread my money around, G&L will be getting my new gun and gunsmith money, D&T gets my transfer and accessory money, hopefully this new shop will get my ammo money. Nashville armory will be getting my money on all the above when I don't feel like traveling more than 5 min away for whatever I'm in the market for plus most likely will get a membership out of me pretty soon.

Good luck to your buddy on his new shop, good to know there's more local options homing to town.

Yes, it is just north of the Mack Hatcher intersection. The name is Arms and Ammo.

Glad to hear this. Although I am on the other side of Franklin, it sounds as though it will be worth the short drive to check this out. And it's not a bad thing that he'll give 'ol Tom over at Lock, Stock and Barrel some competition.

What is the actual address?
I am looking for it

Not exacting sure. If you are trying to use GPS, I would type in 100 Beasley Drive and it should get you within a 100 yards or so. If you find O-Reilly Autoparts on South Columbia Ave., Beasley is just across Columbia from it and the shop is in the first building on the right side.

I forget where but someone mentioned a new gun shop was going to open on or around today somewhere off Gen. George Patton Dr. in the Cool Springs area.  I rode over there and didn't see anything. Has anyone heard anything about this?

I think it's in a shopping center at that road and Moores Lane. There is a blurb somewhere on here about it. Think it opens Tuesday (1/22/13).

Can't confirm the date, but there is supposed to be a new store opening there soon.
