I don't know if this is the correct place to post this, but I didn't see them listed in the vendor forum. Anyway, my son and went to the RK Gun show this weekend with the intent of buying my first AR-15. I took my S&W .357Mag to either sell or trade up to the new rifle, and as soon as I walked in the door I had a buyer for the pistol. We looked around at the gun show but found nothing that suited our wants, so we left. On the way home, I decided to stop by Goodlettsville Gun Store since it was open, and every other time I went by there they had already closed.

Walking in I was greeted by the guys there in a friendly manner which suprised me. I say surprised as my last stop into an unnamed gun shop in Bellevue left me with a bad feeling. These guys were friendly and took the time to show me all of the rifles they had and explain the differences, which was a great help since these are all new to me. I did end up buying a nice Windham Weaponry rifle for a fair price! (Nice rifle, BTW).

My point is, I felt the need to share with you my good experience with Goodlettsville Gun Shop. They don't have a huge shop and a million guns there, but had what I wanted. I just wish there was a shop like this closer to the Donelson area.

ive been wanting to stop there myself but havent found the time and i agree i wish there was something closer to donelson aswell or even in donelson

GGS used to be a vendor here a while back. He since stopped supporting the forum at some point. I honestly don't recall the specifics of why.
