I think I would be more worried about what happens when a Zombie bites a rattlesnake or a copperhead.
Zombie snakes now that would be scary...lol

Would the snake become some kind of zombie snake?

I guess it depends on what zombies we end up with. According to walking dead, everybody is infected and just waiting to turn but so far, animals haven't been affected.

Zombie mosquitoes, ticks, and biting flies would pretty much end it for all the human beans, methinks.

Since Man is a Mammal does that mean that all mammals could become a Zombie?
If so that is a pretty large group.

Well, we're dependent on main stream Zed lore here I guess, but the only ones I can think of are the zombie Dobermans in a couple of the Resident Evil flicks.

Gentleman, this is old news from the 19th century. Do you not remember your factual history taught in high school about serpents? Do you NOT remember the historical demise of our hero, "The Lone Ranger"?

As history records it, the Lone Ranger was on the trail of a bad guy in the 19th century and had a serious intestinal problem. Mr. Ranger had to stop and exercise his bowl movement before "Hi Hoe Silver's" back became brown, instead of silver?

The Lone Ranger rapidly found the closest bush and squatted, then... A rattle snake, not wanting to be dumped upon, struck the Lone ranger in the left buttocks. The following is the documented conversation that followed...

Lone Ranger (LR) - Tonto, ride like the wind to town 15 miles East and get me the doctor there and bring him to me.

Tonto - Ugh Kemosabie, me ride like the wind and bring back pale face doctor.

Tonto: Arriving in town and finding the doctor busy delivering a baby and can not leave, tells Tonto what he must do to save the LR life. Make a small incision across the snake bite, suck out the poison, and bring Kimosabie back to town.

Tonto rides like the wind back to the LR and dismounts keeping his distance.

The LR asks, "well Tonto, where is the doctor and what did he say"?

Tonto then explains to the LR why the doctor did not come ..

The LR asks what the doctor told him about the snake bite?

Tonto, him say, "Kemosabie, doctor, he say you going to die"!
