How can anyone expect to get 2500 for an M1 I know the prices are going up on everything but ? The little note with it said it was 100% correct but that just means someone bought all the correctly marked parts and built one if you ask me, I mean they did have the community cleaning buckets over there and more or less put what ever part back into them and that is what they fought for there country with, if you ask me that is 100% correct. I mean it can be a good hobby to find all of the right parts and put them together kind of like a big boy puzzle and redo the stocks and such but I like mine with the wounds and scars like those that carried them. I think every little nick or scratch means that rifle did its job to help bring one of our VETS back home and that is the only way I want mine. I can but a new gun to be pretty but I cant hold that new gun and wonder how that might have gotten there.

just my two cents!!:( Rando

hahahahah that guys' a nut. I won't pay that for a carbine. I like the way you think Rando. Mark@sea got a couple of carbine's from CMP and asked me to clean them up for him (he was at sea at the time.)

they hadn't been out of cosmoline in 50 years and they still shot a 1 inch group at 100 yards..and that was with a half assed cleaning. they also had the nifty dings and such in the stocks.
