Has anybody seen the WWZ trailer. I don't think you can ever have enough ammo (don't misunderstand, I'm still gonna try).

That looks like it will be pretty good. IF the CGI isn't too over the top on the Zombies.

My thoughts exactly. I saw the CGI and it made me a little nervous. Plus, weren't the zombies in the book slower than that?

Yeah in the book they were walkers, from what I remember. This is gonna sound weird when talking about a zombie movie, but it will be great if its not to over the top

Yeah. I liked the book because of the atmosphere that each of the stories presented. Creepy and morbid. It wasn't just a bunch of foaming screaming zombies. It communicated the overall sense of dread and imminent doom of a zombie apocalypse.

Yeah I don't like super human zombies either. After all they are human at their base and should not exceed the laws of physics.

You can excuse some things based on their lack of ability to feel pain. Without that feedback to stop you or slow you down, the human body can do some pretty remarkable things, at least for a little while.

These are not the same zombies as the book. It seems to be a loose adaptation. Disappointing.

I also heard rumors this was supposed to be released already, but was delayed, as they reshot 7 weeks or so worth of footage. Not a good sign.

If they had a "hive mind" like that, they would have to have superior communication, and directive from somewhere. Edited by HvyMtl

Yeah, "Z" was my first current zombie book to read and I liked it. Trailer looks to fastpaced, more like the 28 DAys/Weeks Later. Still could be very good, but I'm anold fashioned type who like movies to be like the book the are based on. Not just using the title.

And yeah, saw the wall climbing scene and immediately thought of Starship Troopers as well. Makes me want to reread Heinlein again.

i am a little apprehensive, i thought it looked awesome when i saw the trailer the first time, but the more i watch the trailer the less like a ZA movie it is to me. i am with others who have said that the whole "i am legend" effect that the zombies have, i.e. the strength and speed etc etc etc, i am not really digging that. i wanna seea real survival horror film that is as scary as the first time i played the very first resident evil game.
