Israeli strike on moving target, populated area

Hearing the news from there today, things are really heating up in the Gaza...Hamas admitted they had fired 350 rockets, Israel says they only neutralized 130 of them.

Unfortunately some Palestine civilians, including four kids were killed today too, so that's what the Muslim world will mostly hear.

I see Defense Minister Ehud Barak "authorized the call-up of 30,000 army reservists if needed", so far.

But yeah, whether that turns out to be only saber rattling or not, seems to be heating up for sure.

Shoot, this is all I was seeing last evening on CBS news. They allow Paleo-monkeys to fire rockets from their neighborhood, then wonder why they get counterfire from fast movers that ends up killing their kids. Same old Arab story. Shake the cage then whine when you get bit.

your civilian part of the enemy gets plowed, also. Israel has always gone to extreme measures to prevent that from
happening. The palestinians keep on using their kids to bomb and be masks for their coward elders.

Update: now today 16,000 were actually called to duty.

One report said that the Israeli total reserve is more than 70,000!

Don't forget that Isreal has manadatory military service. I'd say that a huge % of the population has already served. Shouldn't be too much trouble to put a gun in their hands when the time comes.
