Okay, here's the thing I work for a grocery store and was given 2 tickets to tonight's race at the Speedway. I am working cannot go, wouldn't go if I could, never understood the facination of cars going round and round. Anyway, if you want em and will use em, post on here and the first one gets em. They cost me $0.00 so THAT IS WHAT I EXPECT FOR THEM. One catch, you have to come get em. I am in Cross Plains, north of Nashville between Gallatin, Springfield, Portland, and White House. I will IM the first person with more details and directions to me.

Nothing like a little advanced notice is there?

Apparently I am not the only one that didn't want to go. I couldn't give them away to anyone. Oh well, didn't lose anything.

the thing is I would have taken them if I knew yesterday.

I enjoy the roundy round and the new Nashville track is great. now mind you it ain't the fairgrounds but it is still great.

I got to ride along in the pace car there for five hot laps a few years back. Big big fun. Nothing like heading right into the wall and waiting for the car to turn left.

Yeah, I know it was way short notice, I got them from a vendor for an employee here, and he wound up getting some on his own. They were here yesterday, but I was off and didn't come in till this afternoon.

What the crap! I guess I should have driven over and got the damn tickets but chose to sit at home in the AC and watch it....decent race until 12 laps left, they have a caution for a spin, its setting up to be a sprint to the end between three drivers...and direct TV or ESPN pulls the plug! I get a Direct TV logo and crappy music. They were going to cut to some Indy car racing but its not there either. What goes on with these networks and their thinking?

I am seriously thinking about getting the HD antenna and dumping the satellite altogether. Can anyone out there tell me if they are getting decent signal for HD in the 50 plus mile range from Nashville? I know I have to get the "good" or big antenna but back in the day before I had satellite, I actually could only get channel 4 from Nashville and a station out of Bowling Green KY better than anything else.

Any HD experts want to help. In fact I'll start a thread to stop the hijack going on here.

I have Comcast and it stayed on till the end for us. My dad had tickets and wanted me to go with him, however I am getting over a bout of pneumonia and did not think I would be able to sit in the heat for that long.

It was a good ending, I'm sorry the sat folks screwed it up for ya.

So what happend for Wensike, what ever Jr's young driver's name is, in the last 12? I think Mike Bliss and Ruetemann were both pulling him in before the caution.

No replies yet on the other thread. If I can't get HD over the air then there is not much sense in dropping the Satellite yet.

thats is awesome that Keselowski won the race. His family has been in NASCAR for a long long time. I am not sure how he ended up hooked up with Earnhardts team but good for him that he did.

I remember that kid years back in the truck series garage, He must have been 12 or 13. big old buck teeth and a slight acne condition. He always seemed kind of awkward and overly quiet. I am very happy he is making it big. No doubt the Cup series will be his future.
