Kel Tec SU 16A opinons

There is a nice SU 16A new in box at a local pawn shop. Comes with all factory accessories and 2 10 rd magazines. They are asking $540 and I can put in layaway for $150 with 90 days to pay it out. Does anyone here have experience with these rifles? I know they feed from standard ar mags. They seem very hard to find from my research and I can't find alot of bad things about them. This would be a truck gun, and would also fufill my need for a hi cap "battle rifle" for lack of a better term. So is this rifle something I should consider for the price? Or should I save some more and purchase something else? It would be getting a decent optic, with low to zero magnafaction, so the main complaint Ive found about the sites would be null and void. Whats your guys opinon?

I've got 2. They are great. I did convert mine to the "c" model. Allows me to shoot as a long barreled pistol.

I have a PLR-16 and a tricked out SU-16C (Magpul MOE / ATI side-folder, Red Lion forearm & trigger). They both play very well, especially with Pmags.. I paid $480 used for the "C" about 4 years ago.

I think you should pass but please PM me the shop info selling it and I will swing by and let them know I do not appreciate the fact they are trying to rip you off. This kind of stuff really gets my dander up. I am sure they are just using the election to try and take advantage of you.
