I am not sure how you fault nurses, the doctor runs the delivery room.

I am sure some nurses are rethinking career choices.

Not the first time it's happened. A friend of mine was an RN/Midwife, and told me about one years ago. They didn't try to put the baby back, but the rest happened.

I have delivered several babies. I know that makes me far from on expert, but I have no idea how the hell this could ever happen. I am completely dumbfounded if this article is accurate. Either way, I would love to hear the doc's account of this.

As a kid I remember the little rhyme (pretty sick, actually) with the dandelion flowers where you would wrap the stem around the flower and pop it off. The rhyme was "Momma had a baby and it's head..... (you remember the rest). I always wondered where that came from, why? It's sick to even think about it, but I wonder if this sort of thing happened from time to time before C-section deliveries were accepted as an alternative or before ultrasounds came along. Thank God for modern medicine. Too bad the doc in this case didn't practice it. Edited November 11, 2012 by Batman
