Mini-14 Sights

I recently purchased an older mini-14 at a good deal, but the iron sights had been removed and a scope base installed. I would like to can the scope base and replace the iron sights, but I haven't been able to find them aftermarket. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find them, or have a set lying around that you would part with? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ian

The front one may be more problematic, though. I see some aftermarket ones, all pretty pricey, though.

Doesn't look like any permanent mods where made. Call Ruger for the parts or check Numrich if you want original.

Mine is a 182 series. The one from Midway is backordered. I will keep the tech-sight in mind, if I can find a decently priced front sight. Thanks for the info, Mack.

I'll give Numrich a look. Thanks. If it's going to be a couple hundred bucks to put iron sights back on it, I'll probably just get an optic of some sort and throw on it. I'm not looking to put a whole lot of money into it, considering I only paid $700 for the mini, an SP101 in .327 Federal, and a 10/22.
