Not a bad choice but the SR9c is more slim and compact then picture's indicate and has a superior trigger to the Lc9.

I had a Pf-9 for awhile. When I first got it I had many problems with FTE, I could not run 1 mag without an issue. Then I got a new extractor and extractor spring from Kel-tec and never had a problem again. ran a few boxes of ammo through it and even some +p (which is not recommended) all without a hitch. Only complaint is the kick you would thing you where shooting a .357 mag. personally I don't think it is a great gun because of the recoil. I know most people say "why do you care if it has a lot of recoil it is for self defense not a range gun" but try and keep a double tap on target and you see why it it not the best choice.

By the time buy 200 rounds to shoot through it to break it in, you could have bought the Ruger LC9. My LC9 has never failed from the first shot. I love the little pistol, even if the trigger is longer than "War And Peace".

Before getting a LC9, take a look at the Shield. Slightly more money but worth it IMO.

i pickup a used one from marshall (mouseguns) several years ago. marshall sold it to a guy and he returned it. so i knew it was going to be a problem if two persons had trouble with it. it was a bad gun at the time. it took lots of work to make it run. it went back to kel tec once for a new slide. i replaced all parts except the frame. kel tec mailed me all the parts free. i ran over 1k rounds testing the gun. i also drop in pop's trigger to help my fringer. after a grip replacement the gun has turned to a 100% gun that will fire six mags as fast as i can pull the trigger and reload without any problems. but that does not happen to all kel tec guns. i like the pf9, it is a easy gun to carry. go over to kel tec org to read up og them.
