I hardley even pick one up anymore.

I have foot petels, new in the box that haven't even been stomped on yet, and plenty that have been.

Used to love sitting and playing all afternoon,just not there at this day and time.

Me too. Used to have my "music room" with recording and mixing equipment, FX, mics, the whole deal. Kids came along and had to make a baby room.

Funny how kids running around the house tend to interfere with your groove!

When I was a teenager, it was not uncommon for me to lock myself in the room with the Rockman Soloist on and play until my fingers burned. The callouses on my fingertips were so thick I could dang near stick a sewing needle in half way.

I don't have near the callouses on the fingertips now but will play for the kids every chance I get.

I do a little strumming myself but been too busy like everyone else to do much lately.

I have 2 Fender acoustic guitars one 6-string one 12-string.

I never play the 6-string anymore, but keeping it around for when my boy gets an interest.

I play mostly country with a little clssic rock.

Do wish I could find someone to pick a little with. maybe it would get me back in the learning process.

You live in the same town as my mother in law. Maybe the next time I convince her to let me shoot on her property we can meet up and shoot and pick.
