Collision Course - David Crwford

I wasn't sure where/what forum would be best to place this in...I thought about the Survival forum but thought perhaps this one was more appropriate. I also am cautious to suggest a book I haven't read myself yet (although I have made a good stab at it) but I think, given the election results of this past Tuesday, this may be worth the risk.

David Crawford, author of "Lights Out" and whom I've had the pleasure of meeting has a new book out called "Collision Course"; the premise of which is a financial/economic meltdown. Frankly, that is exactly what I think we are heading for and especially so now that Obama will retain the Presidency.

Anyway, just thought I'd throw it out there as I've liked the book so far and because I think it could well be relevant to where we are and where we are heading.

I haven't read it, but I want to. I've heard what you mentioned and it sounds like a must read.

I kinda think "The Harbinger" was a must read, also, but that might offend some because of their
beliefs. It made me really think about events going on.

I'm not surprised if anyone hadn't read it or even heard of it yet...it only just shipped to my Kindle on Monday or Tuesday. :)

I'm roughly a quarter of the way through it and it's been a good read so far although not as dramatic as "Lights Out" (or at least as I recall it).

I've actually been waiting on this book to come out for months but the reviews on Amazon and another forum are really negative.

Robert, I have this book, if you want to swap let me know and I'll send you my address. I really enjoyed it. It's a 3 part series and I'm about to order book 2.

[/quote]thanks for the offer but I can't swap because most of the books I order these, except for signed first editions, are Kindle books!

I'll have to look this one up thought, it sounds good. Edited by RobertNashville

Just finished this moments ago...a good read; different than "Lights Out" in how the story progresses. Whether it's as "good" or not I'll leave to other readers but I don't regret the time spend reading it. :)

+1 Not early as good as "Lights Out"' which is hard to top, so far but decent reading nonetheless.

After you read it, let me know what you think. I think I was enlightened by it.. It may also open up what Robert's
recommendation gives.

The way I described this on Amazon was that if you were looking for ways to secure your neighborhood, militia tactics or how to defeat MZBs this was not the book you wanted to read. :)

Frankly, I didn't like how it ended, yet I did...I know that doesn't make a lot of sense but if I said more I'd give the ending away.
