Sig Mosquito Mags

Thats weird!

You might try the lighter spring that came with it.

However to me it sounds like the mag!? Isn't that the mags job!

My wife's hot pink Sig Mosquito is having a failure to lock back after the mag is emptied. Is that because of cheap Remington 550 ammo? Or because it's hot pink? LOL! I bought the Federal value pack to try and also the CCI Minimag stuff. I'll also generously oil it down and keep it wet to see if that helps.

Seriously: My Mosquito came with two different recoil springs. One for use with high power stuff like CCI MiniMag, and another for use with stuff like bulk pack ammo. Make sure you are using the correct recoil spring with the correct ammo.

Also, be sure an lube up the Mosquito very well, and give it a good break-in with CCI MiniMag ammo. I would put a few hundred rounds of CCI through it before I would start using the bulk pack stuff.

Make sure your thumb is not riding the slide catch while shooting. I have found that to be a common cause of this, as well.
