I can see an AWB being passed as some add-on part of a major financial bill. Sort of "attached" to something the GOP wants to get them to vote it through. You know, in the name of "compromise."
Just like carry in National Parks got attached to Credit Card Reform bill.

I hope she gets cancer. Yes, I know it's harsh.
Nah, that's not harsh at all. I'd like to see her disemboweled. I have other ideas, but it might be better to keep those to myself.

I could have made a nice living in the medieval period inventing new ways to torture folks.

Of course that will never happen. Want to know how I know? Because I KNEW it would never happen back in 1994. I KNEW that socialized medicine would never pass. And I KNEW that there was NO WAY that the populous would re-elect an obvious marxist to the highest office in the republic.

See how much I know?
I can definitely understand the pistol grips ........ very, very dangerous. They alone are responsible for countless killings and should be outlawed!
How rediculous! I'm so sick of this crap. I wish the great leaders of this country would put this kind of effort into something a lot more helpful like ridding our neighborhoods of illegals, meth-heads, drug dealers, rapists, thugs and child molesters. Oh, wait a minute ....... what am I thinking? Those are the majority of voters that they count on each election.

Defending this country from enemies, both foreign and domestic, is defined by our 2nd amendment rights. It's what made us who we are. Who in their right mind would even consider taking that away..........

I vote we send anyone who pushes these types of senseless bans over to the front lines for 6 months to a year and have them face to face with real killers. I bet they crap in their pants and go into the fetal position. Don't sit behind a cushy desk telling us, the sheeples, what works best. Get your ass out in the real world for a wake-up call. Let's wake them up to the realities of war, terror and the hatred towards all Americans. Maybe, just maybe, the true value of freedom and what it might actually take to keep it will sink in.

I know, I know, I'm just dreaming .............

she can move all she wants to. Banning guns is not a way for the asshats in congress to get re-upped. I think they like their cushy lifestyle more than they fear guns.

And i am so sick of this gloom and doom #### spewed by people here I about can't stand it any longer. How do some of you get through the day? Just go kill yourself already.
Don't shoot the messenger dude, Daily Market wrote the piece, not I. When people post articles here, it doesn't mean that they agree with them or are frightend by them. Just pointing out the nuttiness of these socialists is all. Whatever is going to happen will happen. I am prepared and won't lose any sleep over what anyone does either way.

Ask that genius Albert Gore Jr. what happens when a 6 term Tennessee Senator votes for a gun prohibition (...think the Gun control act of 1968...) initiative.

If another AWB is passed, I don't think getting voted out of office should be their concern.

This may very well be the straw that breaks the camels back.

I wish the conservative members of the house and senate would counteract this nonsense by starting to introduce their own far-right legislation. Keep the liberals on the defensive instead of offense. let's start with term limits. When that gets debated and eventually shot down, have something else to introduce... maybe introduce the fair tax. None of this stuff would actually pass, but it would promote gridlock (the best we can hope for at this point). We need to keep the liberals busy for the next 4 years by actually introducing worth while bills.

Edit to add: on second thought, a worth-while bill may be just what they need to attach an AWB to. I'm just not sure how our problem gets fixed from here. Edited by Batman

Would those be the same conservatives who now, just two days post election, have indicated they are willing to cave on both taxes and illegal aliens???

That would be awesome. Won't happen, but it would be great. Why do we need to be the ones always on defensive? Put THEM on defensive. Unfortunately too many Republican politicians are just watered-down versions of democrats. Not all, but too many.

In addition to what you mentioned, remove suppressors from the NFA, then short barreled rifles, then shotguns. Fair Tax (I'd wet my pants if that passed). Start removing fees from one thing or another. Keep a constant barrage of riders attached to bills that the left wants.

Battles cannot be won by being constantly on the defensive side.

People like Feinstein will say things like that because they have body guards and bunkers. They are protected from
the electorate and will always choose their political message to suit the moment. She has no regard for the Constitution,
but she has one mission: to herself. Some kind of leader. More like a coward.

Diane Finestien does that all the time. Her constituents expect her to act this way. It never gets anywhere.

I don't understand why her people are meeting with the ATF. We better watch this one a little closer. If they try to do this without Congress, sh#t could get real.
While it may neve "seem" to get anywhere, these people openly declare their true intentions. And is does eventually get somwhere, just like termites, little by little. A little regulation here that no one thinks is a big deal. A little ban there that no one thinks is a big deal. One day you wake up and wonder what happened.

Until the UN blue helmets come with their ammo stockpile laser detectors, and then everybody is screwed.

Any UN Arms treaty could easily impact the importation of surplus ammo and guns as well as new production.

Just think about it - all that cheap steel cases ammo comes from overseas.
