I am a bank branch manager. I am not one of those guys that buys a lot of guns, I would if I could but....

I am trying to get with another bank, smaller more people friendly or something like the FDIC or other type compliance or regulatory organization that deals with banking and financial services/insurance with the hopes I can get a little less stress (extreme sales culture) and a little more money!

x2. Need a new car. I'm sure the fact that were are brothers in arms on a gun forum and some guns can be good collateral.

I am a Ph.D. student in history at UT Knoxville. I teach at Pellissippi State and Walter's State and receive (minimal) retirement pay from the US Army. So, this means that I barely scrape by.

As my screen name implies, I'm a registered nurse at a large hospital in west part of TN/Jackson. I work in one of the intensive care units, but off now recovering from left shoulder surgery. Just glad I'm right hand dominant so it isn't my "gun hand" that is involved.

Anyone considering working in health care, do yourself a favor and STAY OUT OF NURSING!!!!!!!

My title is "Director of Information Services" but the reality is that I'm a one man IT department for my employer. I do it all and have managed to prove valuable enough that they continue to keep me around.

How many people do you have working there?

I've been in sales for the past three years. I quit my job on Tuesday though. Currently I'm working on people's cars out of my garage. Fun work, but certainly no career.

Looking to get on with CSX pretty soon.

Semi-Retired at age 50. Work part time now for local newspaper. Perform contract casino surveillance work when needed.

Sold my Lawn & Landscape Business 2 yrs. ago to a local competitor for a very nice profit. This business went from a complete startup operation to a (3) crew, medium sized, L&L business in (6) years.

Before the lawn & landscape business, (7) years as a Surveillance Shift Manager for two large casinos in Tunica, Miss. Mississippi Northern District court approved expert witness in casino surveillance testimony.

Before getting into the surveillance business, worked the rest of my working life for a local Vertical Turbine Pump manufacturer as a Mfg. Engineer, then promoted to Production Manager. Thought this was my job for life. Plant was bought out and closed after being in business for 105 yrs. Almost no manufacturing left in Memphis.

I am a musician... steel guitar and harmonica. I really don't "buy" a lot of guns; I do a lot of swapping. I have around ten, give or take, at any given time; they just change frequently in that number... Something leaves, something else comes in...

I am an asst. manager of a wine and spirits store in Franklin, salesman for Elite Tactical Systems in Franklin, and Camp counsellor in Fairview during the summer. I do other things on the side and stay as busy as I can. Anything to keep my head above the water.

Yeah, debt.....

I detail cars for a local stealership. It's not a bad gig, really.

Sometimes it really sucks though.

I actually have an assoc. degree in computer technology, an A+ cert, and have been working with computers since I got my first real PC when I graduated HS in 1993(Mom thought it'd help in college.)

I got a job at a local computer store right after getting my degree, but they decided to close the Cookeville location about a year later. Some of you may know the place....Ovation Computers. The main(only other) store is in Franklin.

Since then, I just do freelance work for a few people who are lucky enough to know about me.

I'm looking at a job at a local bank call center. If the guy that is supposed to be leaving gets his new job, I'm pretty much a shoe-in for his job.

He makes $50k/yr fixing any problems that arise from the equipment...mostly none.

I'm sure that's more than you wanted to know.

P.S. -- I can do electrical, plumbing, some carpentry, concrete, drywall, mechanical, ....I've done a little of almost everything, so I'm also a pretty good general handyman.
