By the way, anyone counting on anything good out of either this Congress in its remaining 50 days or the next one, is, I'm afraid, going to be sorely disappointed as will be anyone expecting anything out of the axis of evil in charge of Tennessee (Haslam, Ramsey & Harwell)...it's time to duck and cover and keep your ass out of harm's way as much as possible.

My 23 year old bludgoned me into not callin myself a Republican anymore about a year ago. As he is fond of sayin: "...I'm an equal opportunity political hater. I hate both political parties....". I think he is right.

Ive finally realized that im a radical isolationist libertarian. I think we need to call all the troops home, quit sendin money to our enemies in other countries, and stop the dole... period. As John Smith said"...." No work, no eat....". I realize all that aint gonna happen; but that's the criteria that im usin for evaluating polititicos. Oh, by the way, im an Elitist too. As one of my ole buddies used to say: "....The older i get, the more elitist i become....". I know exactly what he wuz sayin. I find myself bein the same way.

I wish I could like this post a thousand times, Leroy. You are spot on with my views these last few years.
My political views are pretty simple these days.

I don't care what you want to do, or how you want to live your life, just don't ask me to subsidize or pay for it in any way, shape, form or fashion.
