need a bolt carrier group to go with it? They've been hard to find when you need one:

$113.95 in hand with secret TGO handshake.

I noticed those as well and need a BCG. With that pricing my next order from him will probably be a rail, gas block, charging handle, and BCG.

Everthing I need to finish my AR, aside from some irons or a red dot. Edited by nysos

I'm placing an order for two of these. Do I need to do anything to dedicate one for a pistol build? Forms or some kind of registration?

The BCG is just a part, doesn't matter what sort of gun it goes in as long as it is the right type of BCG you need for the caliber.

What denotes a pistol is the lower receiver. If it is just transferred as lower/part, it should be checked as the third option on the 4473 (not rifle or pistol). This gives you the option to build either.

If you build your lower as a rifle first, it can never become a pistol though. So best case is to buy a pistol buffer tube ($20) if you aren't sure what to build, screw it on the lower and take a picture of it with a newspaper, or the tv on in the background showing the date, etc. So that you can prove down the road it was built as a pistol first.

This gives you the option to build whatever. If you want to read more of the details of it, please read this thread.
