All these polls and what's going on inside.

There are wide reports showing sampling of more democrats in almost every one
that appear to be swaying a lot of folks who look at them. When you sample a poll
that includes 5-10 more democrat percentage to get the desired results you aren't
doing anything but lying to the people reading those results. Any poll that does
this is doing it to prop up their candidate.
A tight race, say Ohio, being sampled with 5 %more democrats with a 2 point spread
will look like a 3 point win for Obama when it is essentially a win for Romney if the
poll was done honestly.

This is being done by the majority of pollsters. Rasmussen got it right in 2008, but is
steadily polling against Romney or at least sampling 1-2 points to the left. That may
explain why his polls are more accurate and why he shows a dead heat, within the
margin of error. CNN is sampling up to 10 points in favor of Obama. Pew is sampling
high to the left. Quinnipiac, likewise.

This is why I am sticking with Dick Morris and Michael Barone. They are calling this
for what it is.

Polls are for the audience to get a false sense of security. I wonder what Obama's
internal polling is showing. I imagine it's the reason he is campaigning the way he
is and saying what he is saying to his small crowds. "Voting is the best revenge!"

Polls are too easily swayed one way or the other as you pointed out. I don't trust them at all.

It's not to necessarily trust or mistrust, but to understand the hows and whys. If they didn't do something,
the pollsters wouldn't have a job.
I don't like the way our lives are driven by polls, anyway, not just in elections, but every day of the year.
There is always a poll on one thing or another forming general opinions and shaping everything we do.
They can also be a way to shape the republic if left unchecked. They are kind of like democracy. For
those who don't understand that word, it's called "mob rule".
