Glock field knife

I have had a Glock knife for about 5 years. Have you guys had good luck with them ? I ordered one for my son for Christmas . I have cut deer stand straps and bungee cords and tow straps with mine . It has been great ! How have your experiences been ?

awesome! I re-profile the edge to my liking, not totally necessary but I do it to a lot of knives I buy. Well balanced for throwing, and virtually indestructible. It is almost like they are made by Glock or something...wait a minute...

I mean Glock probably still has some say in the design and all but I just didn't see them actually producing them. I have never held one but from the pictures it looked like a handy knife.

Google FU says that they are alright for a 25-30 buck knife, and need to be reground to be decent. My question is why not Cold Steel for that price?
