- I finally got my G-FRE in the mail yesterday. Put 400 rds through it this morning. Ejection problems finally appear to be solved!

Mine has the 30274 piece. Does that mean it shouldnt have issues? I shot 5 rounds of the Hornady Critical Defense +P's that I got just to make sure it liked them enough to carry with that. Ran like a top. Granted that was just 5 rounds, but I didnt feel safe carrying it with that load until I at least knew it would cycle with it.

The 30724 ejector is the newest version. Mine also had that, but I still had issues with weak ejection / failure to eject / brass to my face until I got the Apex extractor. To learn a ton about the issue, do a google search for "Randy's dissertation on erratic ejection and extraction in the Gen 4 Glock 9mm pistol".
NOT all Glocks have the issue. Hopefully you're one of the lucky ones. They really are great guns when they function.

Cool, thanks. I'll check that out. I'm not worried about it, really. The only thing that scares me is that it could malfunction when I need it most and thats not cool. I'll just have to shoot it a bunch to make sure things are ok...sounds like a good thing to NEED to do. Even if I have to spend an extra $60 on it I've got a killer pistol for $600!
