That's great to hear. Am curious though if there's any medical people on board, what is the determining factor on if hardware is used or not. Seems like as bad as his was, it would've needed some type of support.

Sam1, by the looks of your x-ray, you should be an authority on it yourself. :eek: I see some old breaks healed there as well as the new break and the metal.

Glad he's doing well. Hope it heals comfortably. I'm glad the school called you…
I called my friend to wish him Happy B-Day a few weeks ago & he was at the ER with his 6 year old. She had broken her arm the previous day at school & no one even told him. His sister is supervisor in the cafeteria & they didn't even tell her that she fell. The school had the nerve to call the next day to ask him why Emily wasn't in school... he was still in the ER at the time.

I dog public school and teachers all the time, but I will sat that the teacher on the playground and the school nurse. took really good care of him and did a great job splinting the arm. Kudos to them. They deserve it.
