Even though I have already voted, it has started to sink in that we are less than a week away from finding out the results of everyone's efforts. Up until I voted I had this feeling of uneasiness and anticipation for some reason. Then afterwards it was a matter of relief, that I have done my part and it is no longer in my hands and I just have to wait.

Now I just have pure excitement. Anyone else starting to get that feeling? I mean, 1 week!

Yeah I got the feeling that in one week we will know if America continues to be the country we love, with the freedoms we enjoy everyday, or if we will do something that is not reversible and reelect a man who hates this country and would like nothing more than to destroy everything we are and stand for.

The choice is one where we see the likes of Lena Dunham influential, or

the people like Tyrone Woods, who

love freedom and their country.

Borrowed that from Quinn and Rose,

this morning.

We'll be just fine.

I'm optimistic that we the people will send the commie packing up due to the results of the 2010 elections, the millions of guns bought the last four years, Americans that love their liberty and freedoms, and believing that the American people can make a big as* mistake in an presidential election, but surely have enough sense after witnessing our country being destroyed by a Marxist/commie to realize we will not make the same mistake of re-electing this commie to 4 more years. I don't believe that MOST Americans will prove that they are idiots this time, and will send the commie back to Chicago or Kenya or Indonesia or where ever the hell he is from.

I want to agree with your every word so bad (Mr. Limbaugh tells me to, the eternal optimist he is), but I can't. If the economy was doing okay-to-fine, we would be guaranteed four more years of Operation Freedom Strip. The only reason Romney is going to win is everyone wants him to fix their wallets. They don't care or understand how, they just want rid of what is not working.

I'll add this. Even Clint Eastwood's speech was about firing Obama over the economy.

If the media would report the news with zero bias, I would have some hope that Freedom loving candidate would defeat a socialist candidate even with a good economy. I think too many Undecided Voter types are too easily swayed by the media. If they weren't brainwashed, maybe we'd have a chance regardless of economic conditions.

Actually, if the media would report the truth of what happened in Benghazi; that this America-hating communist let four Americans die that, quite possibly, he could have saved with a simple order; the people wouldn't just vote this piece of human garbage out of office; they would be standing in front of the White House at this very minute demanding his resignation.

Well unfortunately this is a bad mood day for me and I don't think Romney will win this election. The polls have him in a lead, and I really do hope it stays that way. Unfortunately the media has done a wonderful job at portraying everything in a positive light for Obama, and I think a lot of my generation would like to see communism/totalitarianism/whatever over what we have. Why? I have no clue.

I agree. How many movies have portrayed a war-mongering president not caring about troops they put in harms way or situations similar to Benghazi? Here we have Hollywood's prince of a president doing the very thing Hollywood stereotypes upon right-leaning administrations. It just makes me furious.

I hope you are wrong...truly...but if you are right, I may just quite my job and start using all those programs Obama want's everyone to be on...I'm tired as hell of paying for everybody to sit home and watch soap operas or play video games...I'll stop paying my mortgage so that I can finally qualify for one of those programs that don't do #### for people who have been paying all along....get evey credit card I can qualify for, run them all up and then default on them...I mean...let them sue away...what are they going to do to someone with no job and no income that they can garnish and a home that's upside down???

Yeah...I'm in a bad mood today too...can you tell? ;)

Lol, I like your line of thought. I just can't fathom why people would like to live in a communist country. Are they just too lazy to want to take care of themselves? That actually leads to a funny story. I used to go to a liberal arts institution. While there I took Russian and had a old lady from Russia who taught the class. Some students came in and were talking about the "great communist system and how perfect it is." That old lady went on a 30 minute rant, screaming at them, about how it was not great and how we as Americans should be thankful what we have. Not being whiny students complaining about democracy. I laughed, a lot at that. I think it may have even put those students in their place.

"Apprehensive" is a better adjective for me because I fear just how many blooming idiots will come out and vote for Obama regardless of his record for the past four years.

Don't worry. The ones in your generation who are for Obama aren't very serious voters. They don't understand the

reason for voting, or what it does. They have to be herded to the polls. From what I understand, that isn't happening

this time. :D

Usually, I think when people begin paying serious taxation and gain responsibility, like a family, they default to their

conservative roots, except those raised in liberal families. And some of those liberals who have been endoctrinated

by the school system find out they have been lied to, they, too, have a good chance and begin to become citizens

and convert to conservatism. not in all cases, but some. Your generation may have some idiots, like every generation,

but it will turn out just fine.

Yeh, I'm optimistic. :D

No, I think my generation just lacks the ability to look critically at facts, instead they just go on what they've been told.

On a side note, Thomas Sowell had a good editorial in the paper today. Hopefully it will show up in some other papers as well.

Can't find a link to it, but I thought the currently running Romney ad about the old man who immigrated here was quite effective, basic theme as he says, "yes, under socialism the rich have less, but the poor have less, too".

Do you recall the 2000 election?

Regardless of what happens I renewed my right to complain today.

I was 14 in 2000, so that is a big negative. I didn't really keep up with politics somewhat until I was 20.

I know this couple who are in their mid-20's. Got married about two years ago and just had a kid about four or five months ago. He has said he wants to be the stay at home dad while his wife works... she says she doesn't want to work. Right after the birth, he was doing some day labor work, eventually he wasn't picked up for work anymore because, as I was told, he's lazy. His mother pays their bills and yet they're still always broke. Big surprise, he was a PolySci major in college and a passionate Obama supporter.

It disgusts me.

People that have zero desire to provide for their own family truly make me sick. I have a brother like that (25, 2 kids, lives in my dad's house rent/bill free going on 5 years) and he will take and take until there's nothing left and then say "why me?". Between him and my stepmom (also not contributing) they bleed my dad dry, to the point he's selling off personal items to make ends meet. When do these people stop? When theirs nothing left, that's when.

And then they expect the gubment to help them... you know, give them some Welfare checks, food stamps, an Obamaphone, etc.... And who pays for that? You and me, the taxpayers.

What drove me nuts is at the last house I rented I lived about 1.5 miles from some section 8 housing. I missed a turn coming back from a friends house and cut through there to get back to my house, and it was pitiful the number of fairly new cars sitting in front of the homes. You need help with housing, yet you can afford a brand new cadillac escalade? Seriously?

It's all about priorities.... and they have none. I've seen cars around town where the rims are worth more than the car....

My wife would see the same things while at work/school. Parents would have their kids on free lunch, free supplies, free field trips. The kids would be wearing designer clothing, girls wearing wigs and hair extensions while their parents drop them off in caddy's a Lexus's wearing their pajamas.
She knows that almost all of them are coming out of section 8 housing.

Scamming the government is their job and it keeps getting worst every year.
