It is from Judge Napolitano's lecture at the 2012 Mises Institute Supporters Summit: "The Truth About War: A Revisionist Approach" that was held last week.

Here is the lecture in full. I highly recommend for everyone to watch it.

He would make one of the best supreme court justices of all time.

I don't recall what the issue at hand was, but I recall reading some of his comments on something that opposed the presumed conservative position. It was more libertarian. He seems to grasp the Constitution quite well rather than just following one party's platform.

Yep, if you watch that video above he starts with a story about a guy getting busted with a truckload of cocaine and says "I believe people should be able to put whatever they want in their bodies but I took an oath to uphold the law and the says he cant". He is completely fair and objective even in his opinions on Fox, never seems to let his own personal feelings or ideas influence the issue at hand.

I wholeheartedly agree. What makes him so great is they he understands the Constitution for the libertarian document that it is. At all angles the Constitution an the BOR seek to maximize individual liberty and restrain the hands of government.

If you kept your ears open during the lecture and the Q&A you may have caught him extolling the virtues of Lysander Spooner (look him up and read his stuff) and condemning Lincoln as a "monster." When it comes to this nation's founding documents and liberty, the Judge gets it.

His book "Constitution in Exile" is an excellent read. It was after reading that that I realized Lincoln was as much of a tyrant as he could get away with.
