XDS holster help please

Recommended Posts

I have a Harwell iwb one belt loop Leather/kydex holster called the "clip n go" currently but it seems to droop my pants a bit and I am wondering if I was to go to a double loop IWB Like the Harwell comfort cut holster if it would help. Looking for lesser droopy drawers/pants.

Thanks for the help,

Spreading weight out to two attachment points, especially if they are not on the already thickest center part of the holster may help some, and will certainly help over all stability and weight distribution.

But biggest factor is always the belt. Using a good wide (like 1.5") and thick belt suited for IWB/OWB carry? And a properly fitted one, that goes around actual waist and not sagging down under any gut on hips only.

Definitely the belt. I'm carrying my xds in an OWB RKBA Kydex holster and it doesn't budge an inch with my beltman gunbelt.

Yeah, I wear the Beltman Bullhide 1.5 incher myself for over 4 years now, just as good as the day I bought it.

Plus with the beltman belts I can tell people I'm wearing an internal stiffener. :leaving:

Alas, I didn't get the one with the stiffener. Should have thought about that as I was turning 60. ;)

I do have a good sturdy thick gun belt so I don't think that is the issue.

I went ahead and purchased a double loop comfort cut Harwell holster this evening. Looking forward to having it.

Thanks for the help guys.

Like this I guess?

If so, these type wide attachments away from body of the holster itself will indeed distribute weight over a wider area of belt, might be all you need. They also keep the holster/gun in pretty much rock stable position.
