Just a heads up folks, MCTS has IDPA matches on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays and Gallatin Gun on the 2nd Saturday starting at 9:00. Also NTPS shoots USPSA on the 2nd Saturday and following Sunday at 9:00 and 12:00. both days.

Find a local club in your part of the state and join the fun.

MCTS, Music City Tactical Shooters. They meet in Adairville, KY, about 15 mintes from Guns and Leather. I went last time. I'll be going lots more. Great people, fun time shooting :-)

You guys might want to see about getting involved in this years postal match. There is a thread about it in here somewhere. Basically all participating clubs shoot the same four stages and send in the scores. Last years match had 942 shooters from around the country and Italy and Africa too IIRC. There are links and info at www.idpa.com

You must be a current IDPA member with a classification to be an official participant in the postal match. If your club shoots it before you are classified you can still compare your score to shooters from around the country. This is like a big (unsanctioned) major match you can do at your local club. It is nice for people who don't get to shoot the "big" matches etc. All the info you might need can be found on IDPA's website.
