Here's the deal with Mark II's:

If the bolt stop pin pivot is loose, or is not flush with the mainspring housing, then disassembly is a huge pita, if not impossible. I finally learned this after the last session in which the extreme force of hammer & punch work dug a groove in the frame of mine once I got the infernal mess out. After disassembly I put the dremel to that pivot so it is shorter than the width of the mainspring housing, in other words it does not even stick out by a hair on either side.

Mine also has an idiot scratch from the very first time it was taken down. Nothing you can't get fixed though.
