Guns & Leather On Fire

Based on the video that NewsChannel5 put up, it really doesn't look good at all. Never mind the fact that they called it an "ammunition store" and the reporter said that the fire started in their "outdoor" range (which was right behind him and was clearly enclosed prior to the fire). :wall:

Always enjoy doing business with those guys and have purchased several guns there over the last few months. I guess I'll start driving to their Hendersonville location... It's all the same from Smyrna.

Well. This has been an evening.

Building & range are gone. Inventory was, for the most part, saved due to the overwhelming help we had from customers at the store and ones that stopped as they drove by to help out. Words cannot express how grateful I am to those guys & gals. No word as yet on what caused it. I've heard it started in the vents, I've heard it started in the range, and I've heard a bomb went off and that's what started it (I'm not joking). I'll update as we figure out what is coming next. We will rebuild for sure. Bigger, better, stronger than we were before.

And do not worry Rusty, your precious suppressor is unharmed.

Sweet! Very happy to hear everyone made it out safe & sound and much of the inventory made it out as well! I had a rental house in Memphis burn down a couple months ago. Terrible, Terrible, thing to happen!

Here's hoping you build back bigger & stronger!

Good luck Daniel & Crew!

Wow, glad you all making the best of it and no one was hurt.

What a statement for the gun community that you had customers saving inventory for you! I am not so sure I can imagine that happening in other retail stores. Big thumbs up for your customers.

This says a LOT about the gun community and just Tennesseans in general. Glad no one was hurt.

As much charity work as I hear about being done by members here on TGO, I smell an EXCELLENT and truly deserving project. If the next location needs to be built from the ground up, I can say I'd be more than happy to help and I have no doubt several others would say the same. I am of course assuming that this is okay with insurance whatnot. I have no idea but I don't see it being to farfetched for an insurance company to not cover something or increase rates or not want to insure unless they know the building company as a reputable company instead of just a bunch of helpful customers. I'm sure yall are much more familiar with those kinds of details than I am, nevertheless, if there's anything can be done by volunteer work and yall need some bodies, just post about it here on TGO I'm sure you'll get all the help you need.

Oh wow. Daniel, first and foremost I'm glad you and everyone inside was able to escape unharmed. That's the most important thing right there.

The fact that you were able to rescue so much of the inventory is just icing on the cake.

Prayers for you guys as you work through the following weeks and months ahead to recover and hopefully rebuild better than ever.
