Hunting Property/Laws

So I am looking to acquire some hunting property which happens to be across a paved road from a school. This property is nearly 30 acres. Are there any laws pertaining to discharging a weapon near a school that would prevent me, legally, from hunting this area? Keep in mind I am conscientious and most of the property is not within site of the school due to mountains, etc. I can't seem to find a clear answer on TN sites or federal websites.

Ya cant shoot across a road, but I think you knew this.

Is it in city limits, if so, no forearm discharge.

Other than that you should be OK.

Check local codes as well.

Talk to the local sheriff's dept. Make the aware of your intentions. If you happen to be hunting during school hours, I can imagine things going sideways real fast if someone at the school hears gun fire.

Thanks y'all. Yes in no way would I even shoot near a road much less across one. I think it may be a good idea to call the sheriff's office. I was reading about this federal gun-free school zone law but evidently they do not apply to private property?
