Texas vows to arrest U.N. observers.

I think the Eurosocialist and Asiacoms need to worry about their own elections. I have 3 leagal photo I.D.s, my 84 year old mother has a photo D.L. she got several years ago, it took 1 hour to get at the DMV. There's no excuse for anyone not to have one. Now I would have an extra booth set up at the DMV, or other places set up by the DMV or Hwy patrol to make special legal voter I.D.s to make it easier for elderly or disabled people to get one at no cost but I agree 100% with the voter I.D. law. The only reason liberals don't like the law because they loose votes from dead people, felons, and illegal aliens. The "brain dead" still have their constitutional right to vote for Obama.

Little more than posturing on the part of Texas. The observers will be in Texas, or anywhere else they want to be.

They can be there, they just have to follow the 100 ft. rule and not attempt to influence anyone on who to vote for. They have no authority whatsoever to interfere with any of the process. As with anyone else, if they violate elections laws they can be removed from the polling place or arrested.

With Tennessee's voter I.D. law they may have a few observers in Nashville on election day, I wish I knew where they would be, it would be fun to get a few people together and organize a citizens, U.N. observer observers group, of course staying within the law to make sure they follow our laws with plenty of video recording.

I'm glad to see that Texas has an A.G. with a backbone. Too bad we don't.

I like the Texas stance; but i believe its posturing too. The good news is that its "good posturing". It is sending a message.

It is laughable to anyone with half a brain that a bunch of UN bureaucrats that serve a bunch of totalitarian thugs could monitor anything in the USA and tell the truth about it. I say: "....Let the sons of b****es" watch. They may learn somethin and defect...".

The U.N. needs to GTFO of America. They have no jurisdiction to be here.

Now if they want to report as media on something, fine.

Sure it's posturing, but it's also honoring our sovereignty every time a public official stands up to

anything like this. Even if it is only symbolic. The UN has no business in the internal affairs of any

state. Period! Those observers need to police their own elections, which won't happen considering

where they are from.

A part of the UN organization that the US has been supportive, even during the Bush administration. Useless

waste of time for them, and for us. Nothing can come from it. I don't remember what it is called.

Diplomatic immunity? If those UN thugs break a law they should suffer the consequences. If any American lawmaker had any self respect they would send them back to Europe and Asia with a size 10 American boot up their asses. The UN has no place "observing" a damn thing in the United States. Our Constitution does a good enough job of ensuring our freedoms.

This gets my blood boiling.

NAACP and the ACLU to ensure the conservatives don't suppress the minority voters. It is one sided as they are not going to be here to ensure everyone can vote freely, only the liberal leaning voters.

Voter fraud by the liberals should be reason enough to never vote for Democrats again. Everyone knows they wrote the book on voter fraud and yet they get away with it. In this day and time for our country, there should never ever be any attempt at voter fraud. Do you think the UN will write up a report of voter fraud against the Democrats?

I have to have a photo ID to cash a check, buy alcohol, or a gun but don't need one to vote? Give me a break, PLEASE!! Tennessee passed the voter photo ID law and makes them FREE at the DMV. Even opened the DMV on Saturdays--you can only get a photo ID so the lines are not long..

I agree with RoadKill, as long as they do give a free ID card (for voting for those that don't have ID already) at the DMV I am OK with voter ID required.

Until 2 year ago, my mom didn't even have a valid ID, she doesn't drive and never needed one.
