Welcome to the board. Several places in Maryville area to shoot. I have shot at Gunny's indoor range. I think there is an outdoor range in Louisville. As much wide open space as there is in Blount County, shouldn't have trouble finding a place.

Thanks ,I will have to see if I can find the one in Louisville.I just assumed a indoor range wouldnt allow practicing reloads or setting up malfunctions and such.I know I can practice dry but that gets boring after a bit.

Welcome! To my knowledge, you can do reloads and failure drills at Gunny's. You cannot draw from a holster. If there's an outdoor range in Louisville, I've never heard of it (but would like to!). While there is lots of open space in Blount County, finding space to shoot is all in who you know. If you find a willing property owner, you'll get at least a dozen new best friends.

Hello Kenny and Welcome to TGO,

Seems your in luck. If your stint in the Army has brought you an honroable discharge then you can qualify to join the American legion Post 13 right here in Maryville and they have an outdoor shooting range. PM me for the details.
