AR15 target/match trigger.....

I'm looking for a decent target/match trigger without breaking the bank. I'm to the point with my AR that I'm limited by a crappy stock trigger. I don't want to spend alot, but seems everything is $100 or more. What do you recommend? Anything for a lower price, or just recommendations in general? Thanks.

If this gun might be used for defense, the only "match" trigger that I would rely on is the Rock River Arms offering.

They're drop-in, durable enough for serious times, and will offer a very nice break. They're $120 direct from RRA.

Even if this is just a game gun, I don't think you'll find anything better at that price.

I have an RRA trigger on one of my rifles, and it is all those things. However it is a 2 stage trigger with some 2 stage "creep" and a bit of take up and a bit longer reset.

Well, I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet (figuratively) and plunk down $100+ for the RRA. I really don't expect to use it in any SHTF situation, I've got more appropriate weapons than a 24" stainless bull AR. The drop in chip mccormicks any good?

For a fun gun? Sure, but you're going to pay closer to $200.

Defense? I say no. I had one go TU after 200 rounds. Maybe a fluke, but I'll stick with RRA.
