For the sake of disclosure, and to be above board, this is how the gun came back to us after Mikedwood had his gunsmith repair the pistol in question by supplying the "correct" spring. Does that look like the factory "correct" spring?

The owner of the pistol brought the firearm to us for further repair.

I post this only because Mikedwood continues to bash Coal Creek Armory, Inc. with unfounded allegations and rumors and we will not sit by and let this happen any longer.

Glad JPW brought it up again. It crapped out pretty soon after Shadow fixed it. MCR took it back to Coal Creek and they fixed it again. I should have posted that but at the time I was real busy and not posting on TGO much.

The gun has had a couple of range trips in the last 1.5 years and seems to be good so Coal Creek Fixed my Witness!

I hope the stupid thing holds up because it is incredibly accurate or I would have junked it a long time ago. It holds groups half the size of any other gun I have (except the Remington 700)

I do apprciate CCA and Shadow both because this is an odd ball gun and not much info on it. Had it been a Glock, XD, CZ, 1911, Taurus (many others also) that CCA and/or Shadow would have nailed it the 1st time.
